Coronal Mass Ejection
Catalog: M2M_CATALOG
Start Time: 2025-04-13T08:00Z ( SOHO: LASCO/C2 )
All Detecting Spacecrafts:
SOHO: LASCO/C2
SOHO: LASCO/C3
STEREO A: SECCHI/COR2
Activity ID: 2025-04-13T08:00:00-CME-001 (version 3)
Source Location: S18W15
Active Region Number: 14056
Note Keyword:
HAL: Halo CME
OVR: Event partially overlaps with another CME
PRM: Prominence material (filamentary structures)
Source Signature Keyword:
FIL: Filament eruption
DIM: Dimming
Morphology Keyword:
F: Flux Rope
FS: Flux Rope and Shock Candidate
Note: A southeastern halo with a very complex system of several fronts that seem to be moving/expanding in unison. It is difficult to differentiate the bulk vs. shock components of the CME. There seems to be the more dense more southern part to the SW and also a fainter more 'halo' front. The source is a filament erupting starting 2025-04-13T05:00ZZ, stretching from S30E01 to S15W25 as seen in SDO AIA 304 (with more minor dimming reaching S01W30 as seen in SDO AIA 193), and centered ~S18W15.

Prime?"primary flag" which is either True or False. If there are multiple CME analysis entries for a single CME, this flag would indicate which analysis is considered most accurate per measurement type. This is a helpful flag if you would like to download only one most accurate CME analysis per CME per Measurement Type

CME Analysis M2M_CATALOG LE false SWPC_CAT -9.0 -20.0 751.0 C 43.0 2025-04-13T11:52Z A very approximate, and rather speculative, analysis that encompasses two lobes of this CME seen in STEREO A coronagraph - the more southern earlier lobe and a more northern, closely following, lobe. This analysis is speculative because no corresponding front for the northern lobe was found in SOHO and we are treating the two fronts (or lobes) seen in STEREO A as part of the same event. 1: Result 1 (2.0 AU)
